Kimmre is a blend of Kimmeridge Real Estate. The name represents an understanding of the importance of land in the real estate cycle.
Kimmeridge Clay is a sedimentary deposit of fossiliferous marine clay of Jurassic age and is arguably the most economically important unit of rocks in the whole of Europe. It is the major source rock for oil fields in the North Sea as well as being the soil formation upon which all of Chablis' Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards are planted which imparts a distinctively mineral, flinty note to the wines.
It is named after the village of Kimmeridge on the Dorset coast of England, where it is well exposed and forms part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It exists across England, in a band stretching from Dorset in the south-west, north-east to East Anglia and under the English Channel into France
This understanding of land and soil represents Kimmre’s detailed understanding of the value of land and its role in real estate. We also consider our approach to client service as down to earth.
