Kimmre have sold IM Properties' Phoenix House in Milton Keynes, which famously featured in the Superman IV film, to a local authority pension fund for £11.4m, which was reported in CoStar News.

Superman IV: The Quest For Peace, widely considered to have been one of the most maligned sequels ever made, was filmed at the building in 1986 as the series producers sought to recreate Manhatten in Milton Keynes.

IM Properties appointed Kimmre earlier this year to seek offers for the fully-let office block, which has recently undergone a thorough refurbishment.

The office block is fully-let to strong covenants including Network Rail, Airwatch UK Ltd, Greggs PLC, McCann-Erickson and The Gym. The asset has a current passing rent of £893,044 pa, with a WAULT of 4.6 years to expiry and 2.9 to breaks.

It is located on Elder Gate in Milton Keynes with the A5 providing access. Milton Keynes Railway Station is within walking distance of the property.
